Bamiwo Candle and Skin Care LLC ("Bamiwo," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you shop with us, how we use it, and who we share it with.
When you place an order, we collect the information you provide at checkout: your name, email address, phone number, and shipping address. We do not collect or store your card number — that's handled directly by our payment processors (see below).
If you contact us or sign up for updates, we collect whatever you include in that message (name, email, and your message text).
Your shopping cart is stored only in your own browser (using local storage) — it is not sent to or stored on our servers until you check out.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing beyond replying to inquiries you've sent us directly.
Payments are processed directly by Square and PayPal. We never see or store your full card number — only these processors and your card issuer do. Please review their privacy policies for details on how they handle your payment information.
We share your shipping address with the United States Postal Service (USPS) so your order can be delivered. For local Indianapolis-area deliveries, your address is used only to arrange and complete that delivery.
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't currently run any analytics or ad-tracking scripts. The only browser storage we use is local storage for your shopping cart and wishlist, which stays on your device.
We keep order and contact records for as long as needed to fulfill orders, handle returns, and meet our legal/tax recordkeeping obligations, after which they're deleted or anonymized.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing samson@bamiwocandleandskincare.com. If you're located in the EU/UK or another region with its own data protection law, you may have additional rights under that law — reach out and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
Bamiwo is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
